182 Civilians killed, over 700 injured in Israeli attacks on Lebanon, Israel claims to have hit more than 300 Hezbollah sites with dozens of strikes. In retaliation Hezbollah claimed to has hit three sites in Northern Israel.
Lebanese Health Ministry said, Israel is targeting residential areas and targeting civilians. They said, “On Monday, Israel attacked Hezbollah’s stronghold in southern Lebanon and killed 182 civilians including children”. This is said to be the most severe cross-border attack since war erupted in Gaza on October 7. Palestinian group Hamas carried out the worst-ever attack on Israel, in October this year which, has drawn Israel and Lebanon into an all-out war. Yesterday, Israel launched dozens of strikes and had hit more than 300 Hezbollah sites killing around 182 civilians including a large number of children and senior citizens. More than 750 people are said to be severely injured after this large-scale attack. In retaliation Hezbollah claimed to have hit three sites in northern Israel but the number of casualties are not known yet.
Lebanon health ministry said, “Israel attacked towns and villages in the southern part of Lebanon. It targeted “paramedics, women and children in civilian areas and have massacred more than 182 civilians”. Meanwhile, the education minister said, “schools in targeted areas would remain closed for 2 days.”

The Israeli military spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari posted a message on ‘X’ for the people of Lebanon. Our World needs peace – UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres
UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres posted a message on ‘X’ on 21st September, “Everywhere we look, peace is under attack. From Gaza, to Sudan, to Ukraine, and beyond we see: Civilians in the firing line. Homes blown apart. Traumatised, terrified populations. This catalogue of human misery must stop. Our World needs peace.”
“Lebanese, Get out of harm’s way” – Benjamin Netanyahu
Benjamin Netanyahu posted a video message on his official ‘X’ account and said, “I have a message for the people of Lebanon. Israel’s war is not with you. It’s with Hezbollah. For too long, Hezbollah has been using you as human shields. It placed rockets in your living rooms and missiles in your garage. Those rockets and missiles are aimed directly at our cities, directly at our citizens. To defend our people against Hezbollah strikes, we must take out those weapons. Starting this morning, the IDF has warned you to get out of harm’s way. I urge you – Take this warning seriously. Don’t let Hezbollah endanger your lives and the lives of your loved ones. Don’t let Hezbollah endanger Lebanon. Please, get out of harm’s way now. Once our operation is finished, you can come back safely to your homes.
World cannot allow Lebanon to become another Gaza – Antonio Guterres
In an exclusive interview to ‘Arab News’ the UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, said, “The world cannot allow Lebanon to become another Gaza.” Further the Arab News report quotes him saying, “An all-out war between Israel and Hezbollah, is something we need to avoid at all costs.”
A report confirmed by the UN says, almost 41,431, lost their lives in Israel’s attacks on Gaza.
No Lebanese takers for Netanyahu’s desperate attempt at deception
On condition of anonymity a Lebanese said, “No Arab can forget – that once ousted the Palestinians were never ever able returned to their homes, lands and farms. Lebanese will stay put and wage a war much more severe and decisive than the war they fought in 2006. This time around every Lebanese have an account to settle with the Zionist and IDF for their crimes which they perpetrated on innocent, unarmed and oppressed Palestinians.”
The way, devices like pagers, walkie-talkie and home appliances, have been utilised to kill people indiscriminately, have provided new avenues and ideas to terror groups – with this no citizen of any country can feel secure and safe. Henceforth, nobody can be sure that the appliances being bought by them are not planted with explosive and will not blow up in their kitchen and drawing rooms. If this happens, then surely the inspiration is what happened in Lebanon, and blame will squarely rest on the Israeli regime and the powers that brought about remote controlled blasts in Lebanon.
