Srinagar, Sep 30: Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi has categorically denied rumors circulating about an alleged attack on party leader Er Rashid and his caravan by Noor Ul Shahbaz, a long-time associate of the party. In a statement, Inam Un Nabi clarified that these rumors are baseless and have been twisted to mislead the public.
According to the clarification, there was no attack or confrontation involving Er Rashid. Noor Ul Shahbaz had in fact organized a warm and celebratory welcome for Er Rashid as he passed through his area. Simultaneously, another associate suggested an alternative route, creating a moment of confusion.
Fueled by his immense passion and admiration for Er Rashid, Noor Ul Shahbaz, in an emotional moment, shattered the windshield of his own family vehicle. It is important to note that both Er Rashid and Noor Ul Shahbaz were traveling in this car at the time, alongside other members of the group.
Inam Un Nabi stressed that the group continued their journey without any conflict, eventually reaching Noor Ul Shahbaz’s area, where he personally accompanied Er Rashid. Shahbaz later addressed the media to clear any misconceptions and confirmed that the incident was in no way an assault. His actions were a reflection of his deep loyalty and dedication to Er Rashid, rather than any form of hostility.
Unfortunately, some individuals have taken advantage of the situation to spread false narratives, alleging that an attack took place. “We strongly reject these fabricated claims,” stated Inam Un Nabi. “In contrast to other political parties that pay people to attend rallies, supporters come to us out of genuine love and respect for Er Rashid. Noor Ul Shahbaz’s actions were a passionate expression of that love, not an act of violence.”
The AIP spokesperson urged the public to ignore these baseless rumors and remain focused on the pressing issues that affect the people of Jammu & Kashmir, instead of falling prey to false propaganda.
