B. Pharm. student sodomized by duo at Kunjkheda – culprits still at large.  The twenty year old victim, a first year student pursuing bachelor’s degree in pharmacy at a reputed college at Kunjkheda, under the Kannad rural police jurisdiction, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (erstwhile Aurangabad), was raped by two youths who are known to the victim.  On the complaint of the victim a case is registered with the Kannad rural police station under various section of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023.  Police is still searching for the absconding accused.

The victim a native of Kunjkheda residing with his family would every night regularly visit a hotel near his college where his friends used to gather to spend leisure time.

On the fateful night of 6th September 2024, after having dinner as per his usual routine the victim went to the hotel beside his college.  As he didn’t found his friends he walked upto the college ground and sat near a mobile tower.  He was busy with his phone when Ajju Mohammad Sharif Pathan a resident of the same village approached the victim and asked him to accompany him.  On resisting to the accused’s call the accused forcefully lifted and dragged the victim to a nearby ‘Harberium Garden’ where he forcefully started sodomizing the victim.  Within minutes another accused namely Raees Khan Usman Khan joined them and threatening the victim with a knife he too started forcefully having unnatural sex with the victim.  During this barbarian act the accused kept on beating the victim and they snatched away Rs. 250/- from his pocket.  The accused also made a video of this heinous crime.  Later on, they told the victim that they have filmed the entire act and if he talks about it or report it to anyone then they will make this video public particularly, amongst his relatives.

The next day the victim approached the police the filed his complaint with the Kannad rural police station.  The police registered an FIR under sections 115(2) [voluntarily causing hurt}, 119(2) [voluntarily causing grievous hurt for any purpose referred to in sub-section (1)] , 127(2) [Wrongfully confining any person], 137(2) [Kidnapping], 3(5) [joint criminal liability when multiple people work together to commit a crime], 351(2) [criminal intimidation], 351(3) [If threat be to cause death or grievous hurt, etc.], and 352 [Insult intended to provoke breach of the peace] of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023 (BNS 2023).  Police sub inspector Amol Rajaram Jadhao is further investigating the case.  Until this news is published the culprits are still at large.
