In a horrifying incident Neeraj Paswan, nephew of a BJP MLA was shot dead in broad daylight. On Wednesday morning, assailants fired at the nephew of BJP MLA Kavita Paswan in Bihar’s Katihar district. Kavita Paswan’s nephew Neeraj Paswan died on the spot. After this, an atmosphere of tension has arisen in the city. Some unknown persons shot Neeraj Paswan. The deceased Neeraj Paswan was the nephew of Kavita Paswan, a woman MLA from the Kodha assembly constituency in Bihar.
Neeraj Paswan Murder Spot Neeraj Paswan, a resident of ‘Driver Tola’ in Katihar, was approached by assailants on a two-wheeler at Sangram Chowk near his house who fired six rounds, two of which hit Neeraj. The incident took place in the city police station area of Katihar city. After the incident, Neeraj was rushed to the Katihar Medical College in an injured state, but he died before being taken to the hospital. Doctors declared him brought dead at the hospital.
Public succeeded in catching one of the assailants After the shooting incident, other people nearby tried to arrest the assailants and succeeded in catching one of them who was later handed over to the police.
Police action in Neeraj Paswan murder case On getting information about the incident, Superintendent of Police Jitendra Kumar, ASP Shashi Shankar Kumar, Head of City Police Station Suman Kumar Singh along with their team reached the spot and arrested one accused. Also, police say four weapons have been recovered. The body of the deceased Neeraj Paswan was kept in Katihar Medical College. The police have taken the body into custody and started the post-mortem process. Katihar Superintendent of Police is investigating the matter further.
