US – ‘The Human Rights Champion’ saves human lives by intercepting Iranian missiles fired on Israel after Iran’s counter-attack on Israel to revenge massacre of civilians and its top leaders including Hezbollah General Secretary Hassan Nasrallah alongwith Iranian Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoushan.  In violation of ‘International Humanitarian Law’ under the Geneva Convention, Israel used 15 US made 2,000 pounds, ‘Bunker Buster’ bombs to eliminate its biggest threat ‘Hassan Nasrallah’ and several other top leaders of Hezbollah.   Under the Geneva Convention ‘Bunker Buster’ bombs are banned for use in and around heavily populated civilian area which, Israel used last week in Lebanon.  Israel’s attack on civilian areas continued till last night which were halted as Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu had to run indiscriminately and take shelter in underground bunker after a massive missile attack by Iran.  Almost 200 missiles were fired, and none of them targeted civilian areas or civilians.  Unverified sources reported that Iran destroyed Israeli air force airports, 20 5^th Gen. F-35 Fighter Jets, “large number” of Israeli tanks in Gaza strip and other military installations.

“We condemn these reckless attacks by Iran” – Pentagon Press Secretary

Pentagon Press Secretary Air Force Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder says, “… Iran conducted a significant attack against Israel today, launching approximately 200 ballistic missiles targeting several locations in Israel.  We condemn these reckless attacks by Iran and we call on Iran to halt any further attacks including from its proxy forces.  During the attack the US military coordinated closely with the Israeli defence forces to help defend Israel.  US Navy destroyers deployed to the Middle East supported the defence of Israel by firing approximately a dozen interceptors against the incoming Iranian missiles.  Initial reports indicate that Israel was able to intercept the majority of incoming missiles and there was minimal damage on the ground.  We’re still assessing the attack, so numbers may change as we receive updates. No US personnel were injured or harmed during the Iranian missile attack. Secretary Austin, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General CQ Brown, junior, and US Central Command Commander General Eric Carrilla are in constant contact with President Biden and Vice President Harris throughout the day to consult on the situation and US actions.”

He further said, “In addition to his phone call earlier this morning with Israeli Minister of Defense Gallant prior to the Iranian attack Secretary Austin spoke to Israeli Minister of Defense Gallant just a short while ago to get an update.  He reaffirmed the United States’ ironclad commitment to the Defense of Israel and underscored that the US remains well-postured throughout the Middle East region to protect US forces and defend Israel and the pace of threats from Iran and Iran backed terrorist organizations.  To be crystal clear as Secretary Austin has said, that should Iran, its partners, or its proxies use this moment to target American personnel or interests in the region, the United States will take every necessary measure to defend our people.”

It’s also a testament to intensive planning between the United States and Israel to anticipate and defend against the brazen attack. Make no mistake, the United States is fully, fully, fully supportive of Israel. And I just got to spent the morning and part of the afternoon in the Situation Room and mainly with my whole national security team and consulting with the Israelis directly in terms of impact on us. The national security team has been in constant contact with Israeli officials and their counterparts.”
